Description
In the Randstad you will find many busy cities, but you can also relax in beautiful nature reserves. For example, in the vicinity of Delft and Rotterdam you will find the green Delfland. On this route you cross this piece of nature with meadows, mills and historic villages between the busy cities.
Mills in the polders
This route takes you through the wider area of Schipluiden. The landscape here mainly consists of green polders and waters that are used to drain the water from the polders. Furthermore, this area is known for the many windmills that can be found there. On this route you will pass the De Korpershoek flour mill and the Oude Molen. Mill De Korpershoek was built on the site where several mills previously stood. These earlier mills all went up in flames. The current mill was built around 1950. The mill was then restored again in 1991.
Pavilion't Center Point
At the end of the route you arrive at Paviljoen't Middelpunt. Take a seat here for a tasty snack and a drink with a view of the water. A cup of coffee, lunch or an extensive dinner, you will find it all here. Lets eat!
