Cycling around Oosterschelde National Park

As you relax, you look out over small polders with swamps, pristine grasslands and reed fields. Then you cycle over the Oosterscheldekering and enter Boswachterij Westerschouwen. This is the largest forest in all of Zeeland with hilly dunes, sand drifts, valleys and dune meadows. It is wonderfully quiet here. From the cycle path you can enjoy the views over the flats, mudflats and the water. You pass the Plompetoren lookout tower, further along is the De Schelphoek nature reserve. You drive to Colijnsplaat via the Zeeland Bridge. This is where De Oude Molen is located, dating from 1727. The route starts and ends at Grand Hotel Ter Duin. Here you can enjoy a snack and drink after the tour. Choose an overnight stay so that you can enjoy these surroundings the next day.
