Cycling through the head of Schouwen-Duiveland

In the head of Schouwen-Duivenland you can enjoy a breath of fresh air. From Scharendijk you cycle into the vast polder. Just past Moriaanshoofd you cycle along the Oosterschelde. Here you have a beautiful view over the water. Further on you cycle into Boswachterij Westerschouwen, the largest forest in the whole of Zeeland. Halfway you pass Boutique Hotel ter Zand and Grand Hotel Ter Duin. Here you can settle down for a bite to eat and a drink, before you cycle through the seaside resort of Burgh-Haamstede. A replica of a medieval ring wall has been built at the ring in Burgh. Around Renesse you cycle through the dunes again, how wonderfully quiet it is here. Finally you pass Molen't Hert from 1748. Further on is Molen De Lelie, which was built in 1868.
