Cycling through cozy Brabant towns

Forestry Dorst
The starting point of this route is in Oosterhout. From here you cycle to Geertruidenberg and on to's Gravenmoeren, Dongen and Dorst. Along the way you cycle through Boswachterij Dorst, a forest of approximately 1,000 hectares between Breda, Oosterhout and Tilburg. The area consists mainly of pine forests that were planted at the beginning of the 19th century on the heathland that was found here at the time. Later, parts of these forests were cut down again and sand drifts were created. Today you will find small deciduous groves, heath remnants and various clay pits that were created at a former brick factory. In and around those loam pits you will find interesting flora such as yellow-green sedge, decumbent winglets and ground stars.

The Blue Camera
In the center of Oosterhout you can take a look at the Toy Museum'Op Stelten\\\' and at the castle De Blauwe Camer. It is not known exactly when this castle was built, but the first source mention of the castle dates from 1497. The castle was used for years as a school by the church to teach poor girls.
