Description
Between Zoetermeer, Leiden and Alphen aan den Rijn you cycle straight through the beautiful Groene Hart. This peat meadow area is full of polder mills that used to, and sometimes still do today, ensure that the landscape does not flood. This route takes you past typical Dutch sights. You start your tour at the edge of the Zoetermeerse Plas.
