Description
Your walk starts at the Maria Johanna Hoeve in Noordeloos. Drink a cup of coffee on the nice terrace and then set off to discover the Alblasserwaard. In this beautiful polder landscape you have a beautiful view of meandering dikes. Here you can enjoy the peace, panoramic views, picturesque villages and of course beautiful old mills. You can also walk around the Slingelandse Plassen, a small-scale nature reserve. Less well-known but just as beautiful is the Giessen, another peat river that finds its way here in erratic bends. You follow this water for a long time, through the village of Overslingeland with its monumental farms. Pinkeveer is also such a cute hamlet.
