All cycle paths are paved and are very quiet with regard to car traffic. The departure is at junction 24 in Maaseik. Ample parking space for people who transport their bicycles by car. Rarely have we been on a cycle route where cyclists have really been taken into account. Everywhere along the route, careful thought has been given to setting up rest areas in the form of picnic areas. And if you don't want to have a picnic, there are many cozy terraces along the route. One in particular is the Smakerij, Venlosesteenweg 403E between Neeritter and Kessenich. In a word,,,,Great,,,, And then the pearl on the route. For those who have a little more time... Behind Kessenich lies the beautiful nature reserve Rivierpark Maasvalle i . Here, by deviating slightly from the route, you can feast your eyes on this beautiful nature reserve.
