Tour of the Sallandse Heuvelrug and Lettele

This route takes you through the Salland region. And where better to start this route than in Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park! The first part of the route takes you pleasantly through the forests. Next, you cycle through the rural area west of Holten. Here, you ride along quiet country roads through a peaceful, rolling landscape. In Dijkerhoek, you pass De Hegeman, a windmill dating back to 1890. In Lettele, you can stop at Restaurant BRAS-KOER. Enjoy a delicious meal here before riding to Landgoed De Oostermaet. During the Second World War, the Germans fired V1 rockets from here. Along the Oerdijk, the remains of the launch pad have been made visible, and you will find an information board with an explanation. Via Nieuw Heeten, you ride back into the national park.
