Description
From the Yser Tower along the right bank of the Yser to the Schoorbakkehoeve in Schore (hotel-restaurant-tea-room with terrace and excellent stopping place just halfway through this route. Then towards Stuivekenskerke. Just past that village to the right, to reach the Frontzate (the old railway bed Nieuwpoort-Diksmuide) Turn left and follow the Frontzate to Diksmuide.
Advantages of this route: much along the water, quiet rural area with almost exclusively traffic-calmed roads and traffic-free cycle paths.
