The Zoom
After boarding you quickly drive through Zoomland Estate. This was once a large swamp, but now there is a damp forest through which old avenues still run. It is nice and quiet here, you almost forget that Bergen op Zoom is so close. A little later you cycle into the city past the Anton van Duinkerken Park, which is designed in the English landscape style. De Zoom flows to the right of the road, a former peat canal that is now an ecological connecting zone.

Lievensberg estate
In the center you will pass the fourteenth-century Gevangenpoort, the only remaining city gate of Bergen op Zoom. Further on you will pass Kijk in de Pot, the former fortress and barracks that has now been converted into a beautiful city park. On the Binnenschelde, which was once part of the Oosterschelde, you can enjoy a coffee and something tasty at Het Strandhuys. You drive back to your starting point through the deciduous and coniferous forests of the Lievensberg Estate.
