The Zoom
After getting on, you quickly cycle through Landgoed Zoomland. This used to be a large swamp, now there is a damp forest with old lanes running through it. It is nice and quiet here, you almost forget that Bergen op Zoom is so close. A little later you cycle past the Anton van Duinkerkenpark in the city, which was laid out in the English landscape style. On the right of the road flows De Zoom, a former peat canal that is now an ecological connection zone.

Lievensberg Estate
In the centre you will pass the fourteenth-century Gevangenpoort, the only remaining city gate of Bergen op Zoom. Further on you will pass Kijk in de Pot, the former fortress and barracks that has now been converted into a beautiful city park. At the Binnenschelde, which was once part of the Oosterschelde, you can enjoy a coffee with something tasty at Het Strandhuys. You will drive back to your starting point through the deciduous and coniferous forests of Landgoed Lievensberg.
