Walking from Gulpen to Vijlen

The route starts at EuroParcs Gulperberg, a wonderful overnight stay in the hills just below Gulpen. From here you immediately walk over the Gulperberg, a 157 meter high hill. At the top is a striking Marian monument from 1935. Furthermore, on your left you pass Hoeve De Bek from 1663, which served as a post house. On the edge of Vijlen you pass Hotel Vijlerhof. An ideal place for a stopover with a terrace and something tasty. While you enjoy the beautiful views, you descend to the Geuldal. A little later you walk into the Wagelerbos, a wonderfully quiet hillside forest. What a beautiful route this is if you want to completely relax!
