Drents-Friese Wold

This beautiful route mainly takes you on cycle paths. Only through the quiet village of Zorgvlied the road is used.
The surface of the cycle paths varies from asphalt, concrete to shell path.
It is easily accessible, not always flat, there are no real climbs.
It is easy to do with a 'normal' bicycle, although the scene along the way is dominated by electric bicycles.
Because it is a real tour, you can start at different points.
There are plenty of parking options. For example, at junction 12 on the verge of a dirt road is one option, but even better is a large, free parking lot at junction 87. There are also several restaurants or campsites along the way.
Despite the fact that the route passes large heathlands and sand drifts, you cycle in a reasonably sheltered environment.
There are several opportunities to rest along the way. There are many benches and you will also regularly pass a camping site or recreation park.
