Enjoy the nature around Kalmthout

Your route starts at De Heusche Bollaert. Kalmthout, Belgium, is surrounded by beautiful nature reserves. This route takes you through the expansive border park De Zoom-Kalmthoutse Heide. Near Huijbergen, you cycle into the vast forests of the Brabantse Wal. You also pass through the Belgian nature reserve Domein Noordheuvel. Here you cycle through deciduous trees, most of which are over 120 years old! Through the countryside, you cycle to the Kalmthoutse Heide. On the expansive plain, you can fully enjoy the peace and beautiful views. You'll also see several tranquil fens; take a break to soak up the beauty of these gems. You return briefly through the border village of Putte, after which you cycle back into the forests in Belgium back to your starting point.
