Tour of the floodplains near Tull en 't Waal

Your route starts at Eethuis Ster in the Kersentuin. This walk takes you across the green floodplains of the Lek River. Enjoy the peace and space in this area that was drained in the 10th century. The beautiful little Tull and't Waal are a so-called twin village. It consists of two centres:'t Waal in the west and Tull in the east. In Waal you will find the village church and in Tull there is a corn mill and four large farms. Some farms in Tull and 't Waal date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Nearby you can walk a bit along the edge of the Lek and the Honswijkerplas. You can take the floodplain route here if you want!
