Description

The so-called'Peel Framework\\\' was intended to protect the Netherlands against the advancing German army. That failed miserably. The position fell on the first day of the resistance, at the Battle of Mill. In the Land van Cuijk, the remains of the'Peel-Raamstelling\\\' are still clearly visible.

The route leads from Mill to the fortified town of Grave. The history of the most besieged city in the Netherlands can be found in the Graafs Museum. See : https://http://www.graafsmuseum.nl/ . The Casemate Museum in Grave (located in the floodplains) is also more than worth a visit.
