The route starts at Restaurant Eetcafé Jansen & Jansen. In this cozy catering establishment you can have a drink or eat something while looking at the fifteenth-century Remigius Church from the terrace. In the countryside you drive through the characteristic Achterhoek landscape of forests, heathland, meadows and hedgerows. How beautiful it is here! Along the way you will see some characteristic Saxon farms. Such as the De Slinge stream where you pass the Lebbenbrugge. An authentic location, because this sixteenth-century Saxon farmhouse houses an interesting museum. Further on you drive through Ruurlo. Here you will see, among other things, the Agneta, a mill named after a lady from the family that lived in Ruurlo Castle for centuries. The fourteenth-century Village Church is also worth seeing.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
