Kerkpad Houtdorperveld
The route starts at Bospark de Wervelwind. Soon you reach the Houtdorperveld, one of the largest heaths in the Netherlands. You can enjoy beautiful views while cycling on the former church path between Speuld and Uddel. The heathland is at its most beautiful in the summer, when the purple flowers appear, turning the field into a purple sea in one fell swoop!

Speulderbos
The Speulderbos is one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. And you feel that when you cycle between the deciduous trees. How quiet it is here! You pass flour mill Het Hert from 1899. It is the third mill on this site: its two predecessors have burned out. Via the Gelderse Vallei you drive back into the woods to Garderen.

Molen 't Hert is a tower mill that was built in 1899. The mill served as a replacement for a flour mill that burned down in 1898. The mill is still working today.
