Church path Houtdorperveld
The route starts at Bospark de Wervelwind. You will soon reach the Houtdorperveld, one of the largest heathlands in the Netherlands. You will enjoy beautiful views while cycling along the former church path between Speuld and Uddel. In the summer, the heath is at its most beautiful, when the purple flowers appear and transform the field into a purple sea in one go!
Speulderbos
The Speulderbos is one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. And you can feel that when you cycle between the deciduous trees. How quiet it is here! You pass the Het Hert corn mill from 1899. It is the third mill on this spot: its two predecessors burned down. Via the Gelderse Vallei you cycle back into the forests to Garderen.
