Tour of Zwolle: Hattem and the IJsselvallei

This cycling route starts and ends at Hotel Mercure Zwolle, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee before you set off. This route takes you through the historic city center, but also through some beautiful nature reserves just outside the city. In addition to green, you will also see a lot of blue on this route: after all, Zwolle is located at a crossroads of waterways! You will pass through the English Work, a large city park that was built around 1830 on former fortifications. It is decorated in the romantic English landscape style. You cross the IJssel via a ferry. From the dike you have a beautiful view of the river and the floodplains. The nice Hanseatic town of Hattem with its beautiful old center and a ferry concludes the tour.
