The most beautiful places in the Maasduinen

Fancy a long bike ride through the beautifully rolling Maasduinen? This route takes you past all the nice places, from Arcen Castle to the Hamert Estate, the Wellsche Heide and the Reindersmeer. In addition to nature, you also fully enjoy culture on this tour. You will see the ruins of the Schanstoren, a fifteenth-century remnant of the former fortifications of Arcen. Further on you will discover the Hamert Estate with its fens, heathlands and forests. You then drive many kilometers through the forests and heathlands of the Maasduinen National Park. Along the way you can enjoy a terrace at De Wellsche Hut, a nice spot for a break! Just before Wellerlooi you pass Eetcafé Het Centrum, further on you will find Pannenkoekenhuis Jachthut op den Hamer. Plenty of nice places to stop along the way!
