Description
Today all routes go to the museum village of Orvelte.
Taking a look at the village is very worthwhile. From there you go to Witteveen where the children can visit the Speuldeel childcare, and then enjoy themselves at the village hall De Tille in Witteveen. Then the route goes to Oud Aalden, a village with old farms and the beautiful Jantina Helling mill (.... km). Here you go to Meppen where you can enjoy yourself at the tearoom. It then goes past the De Bronzen Emmer recreation park in the direction of Mantinge. On the left you pass the unique Mantingerzand nature reserve with old juniper forests and sand drifts.
You drive through Mantinge where the recently deceased cartoonist Jan Kruis lived. The route continues along the beautiful nature reserve called the Mantingerbos.
Now the last stretch via Eursinge to Westerbork.
