The island of Tholen is ideally suited for a day of cycling with a high level of tranquility and space. You will also discover the characteristic fortified town of Tholen. The route starts on the edge of Oud-Vossemeer. You drive through the countryside on narrow, winding roads. You see fields, flowery grasslands and a fruit orchard here and there. It is wonderfully quiet in this sparsely populated area. And the water is never far away. For example, you cycle a bit along the Oosterschelde. From the dike you have beautiful views! In Tholen you can take a rest at Hotel Tholen with its restaurant JuNa. You cycle back to Oud-Vossemeer via the Scheldt-Rhine Canal.
