There are some beautiful nature reserves around Landgraaf. Get on your bike and discover how beautiful this hilly region is!
The Worm Valley
You can climb to the top of the Wilhelminaberg (before or after your route) for an unprecedented panorama of the area. After a while you enter the Wormdal: an undiscovered gem that is in no way inferior to the Geuldal. You cycle through an idyllic landscape where you hardly encounter any people. How peaceful it is here!
Brunsummerheide
From the German Teverener Heide you drive onto the Brunssumerheide, the only large heathland area in South Limburg. In addition to heathlands, you will also see forests and fens. With a bit of luck you will hear the 'cowbells' ringing, a sign that the shepherd with his flock of sheep is nearby. A nice sight! Be sure to get off at the visitor center, because you can enjoy a beautiful view of the natural beauty there.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
