Description
Rotterdam is easy to explore by bicycle. Jump on the saddle and be taken along many sights.
Old Delfshaven
The Rotterdam Vroesenpark. This city park dates from 1929, its construction was partly a job creation project. Further on you will pass De Speelman, a flour mill from 1971. You will drive a bit along the quay along the Delfshavensche Schie. The beautiful Delfshaven enjoys a protected cityscape, and on the quay you can see some beautiful monumental buildings. The Dubbelde Palmboom, for example, is a former grain warehouse from 1825.
Coolsingel
From a distance you can see the Euromast: with its 185 meter high top, this is the highest observation tower in the Netherlands. You will also drive through Witte de Withstraat, one of the most vibrant places in Rotterdam. You can visit the Center for Contemporary Art here. Then you drive across the equally famous Coolsingel. At the end you will see the Hofplein fountain from 1955.
