Description

The sustainable Wind in the Wheels - Eneco cycle route takes you past vast meadows, forests and water. The route runs through the village of Reusel and passes the border at Arendonk. You will find fun and educational stops along the route. For example, we offer the opportunity to rest on the sustainable Eneco picnic bench , which you can find at the Brandtoren and at the Reusel-De Mierden Wind Farm. While cycling we provide you with fun facts about wind energy and Windpark Reusel-de Mierden via appealing Wind in de Wielen information boards .

The route was developed by Eneco in collaboration with the municipality of Reusel-de Mierden. It is a sustainable and educational route . During the route you have a good view of the 5 wind turbines that were installed in 2015 and provide Reusel with sustainable energy . These wind turbines are central to the route, so feel free to take a rest at one of the turbines and visit local entrepreneurs such as Natuurpoort de Brandtoren and IJssalon Fabor along the way.
