This cycling tour through the Oisterwijke Forests and Fens and the Kampina starts at Natuurpoort Klein Oisterwijk . The ideal starting point to explore these beautiful nature reserves. Before or after the tour, you are very welcome in the cozy Streekcafé of Klein Oisterwijk for a delicious cup of coffee with homemade apple pie or a lunch of regional products.

In the Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen nature reserve it is wonderful to cycle along the many fens that date from the last ice age and were formed by the wind. It eroded the lowlands and blew up the sand into large heaps around it. Later the bowls filled with rainwater. The nutrient-rich area makes it a true bird paradise.
Nature reserve With its alternating dry and wet heathland, forests, streams and fens, the Kampina is a nature reserve with a surprisingly varied landscape and one of the most valuable heathland areas in our country. Herds of cattle or Icelandic horses graze there all year round.
