Description

The route starts on the south side of Breda. Before departure you can have something to eat or drink under the trees of the Ginneken Markt. You can tap water at starting point 83. You cycle the entire route along the river Mark across the border to Belgium. First, the route passes the Mastbos, which celebrated its 500th anniversary in 2016, and Bouvigne Castle, now owned by the Noord-Brabant Water Board. At the village of Meersel-Dreef there is an antique border marker on the route, so you know you're almost there. The terminus is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage site."At the fathers\\\" there is a large catering facility with a large playground for young children. You can buy strawberries there in season.
