Cycling along Maas and Waal

This route takes you through old villages along Maas and Waal. You start on the edge of Rossum, a picturesque town with a rich history. Via Kerkdriel and Hedel you drive to North Brabant. It is wonderfully quiet here to cycle on the dike along the Maas, while looking out over the water and the meadows. You pass Museumgemaal Caners, cross the river in Lith and drive through the Land van Maas en Waal. From Wamel, the route takes you over the dike along the Waal. Here you have beautiful views over the river and the floodplains. Finally, you drive past New Fort Sint Andries. At Bistro In Petto it's time for a terrace with a view over the Waal!
