Noord-Beveland is easy to explore on foot. This beautiful walk takes you through Kamperland and the surrounding polders.
Cozy Camperland
The route starts at Verscentrum Sandee. Before you go for a walk, you can stock up on something tasty for the road. Kamperland was founded around the year 1000, but disappeared from under water during the infamous All Saints' Flood - just like the rest of Noord-Beveland. It took more than sixty years before people dared to reclaim the island bit by bit. On the edge of Kamperland you will pass Landgoed Kogelhof with its striking villa.
Charge the battery
In the polder you can fully enjoy the high Zeeland skies. The clouds rarely stand still, tossed as they are by the ever-active sea breeze. You also have beautiful views over vast meadows.
