From Dordrecht through the Biesbosch

With this route you cycle through the Brabant and Dordrecht parts of the Biesbosch. So you catch two sights in one stone. First you drive to the ferry that takes you across the water to the Biesbosch National Park. Enjoy the water-rich nature and the silence! Near junction 4 you can climb a landscaped hill to discover the artwork De Waxende Maan. You take a tour around the Noordwaard, a former agricultural area that has been depoldered. In the Biesbosch Museum you can learn more about the history of this unique area. Back on the Island of Dordrecht you drive a bit along the Hollandse Biesbosch. What views! The route ends in a special place: De Watertoren Hotel & Restaurant. Time for a terrace and a snack!
