Dunes and spheres between Castricum and Egmond

Your cycle route starts at Bike Totaal Kruijswijk Tweewielers. You set off from Castricum. First, you head for the dunes, because they are attractive! A beautiful cycle path leads you straight through the dunes of the North Holland Dune Reserve: one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. You will immediately get into a holiday mood. If you want to know more about this special area, get off at the De Hoep Visitor Centre before you dive into the cycle path. Just before Egmond aan Zee, you turn off again and leave the dunes behind you. It is also beautiful here: you cycle to Limmen, the centre of bulb cultivation in this region. In Limmen, you can visit the Hortus Bulborum, a unique museum garden where more than 4,000 different spring bulbs have been collected.
