Description
The Dutch-German border area is a wonderful tourist area.
You loosen up your legs in the fields at the border, after which you drive into Germany. You soon pass through the beautiful old German village of Kranenburg. Then you drive through the reserve Der Düffel, a nature reserve with small forests, wet grasslands and hedges. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal to unwind. Back in the Netherlands you pass through Millingen aan de Rijn, after which you drive through the Millingerwaard and the Groenlanden, two beautiful nature reserves. This region is not called Berg en Dal for nothing, how beautiful it is here! The route starts and ends at De Hazelaarshof, enjoy a wonderful overnight stay here so that you can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings the next day.
