The Dutch-German border area is a wonderful touring area.
You relax your legs in the fields at the border, after which you drive into Germany. You will soon pass through the beautiful old German village of Kranenburg. Then you drive through the Der Düffel reserve, a nature reserve with small forests, wet grasslands and hedges. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for relaxing. Back in the Netherlands you pass through Millingen aan de Rijn, after which you drive through the Millingerwaard and the Greenlands, two beautiful nature reserves. This region is not called Berg en Dal for nothing, it is so beautiful here! The route starts and ends at De Hazelaarshof, where you can enjoy a wonderful overnight stay so that you can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings the next day.
