Veluwezoom tour from Hoenderloo

You first set course for the beautiful old village of Beekbergen. Nearby, in Lieren, you may see the historic steam train that commutes between Apeldoorn and Dieren. You follow Kanaal Zuid to the Middelste Molen: a water mill from 1887, now a paper factory and museum. Then you drive back into the vast forests of the Veluwe to Loenen. You take in a bit of the Veluwezoom, also a National Park, before you slowly turn towards the gate of De Hoge Veluwe National Park in Hoenderloo. The route leads you straight through rolling heathland and forests. Along the way you can visit Museum Deelen Air Base during the weekend.
