Tour of Beekbergen, Loenen and Veluwe

From Holiday Park De Rimboe and Woeste Hoogte, you'll embark on a unique cycling tour across the Veluwe. First, you'll cycle to Beekbergen, a charming village just outside the woods. You'll also pass through Lieren, after which you'll ride along the leafy path alongside the Apeldoorns Kanaal (Apeldoorn Canal). This waterway was opened in 1868 and closed to shipping in 1972. Along the canal stands the Middelste Molen (Middle Mill), a watermill dating from 1887, now a paper mill and museum. You'll cycle back into the Veluwe via Landgoed Ter Horst and Loenen, cycling for miles through forests and heathlands. An ideal setting for a day of relaxation. You'll pass the Woeste Hoeve, where you'll find Luisterplaats 61 (Listening Place 61). Finally, you can relax on a cozy terrace at De Proeftuin Hoenderloo.
