Description

From the village you can walk straight into nature. What a sudden silence! The landscapes here are impressive: from wide grassy plains and heaths to shifting sands and forests. Juniper, sundew and bell gentian add extra color to this route. The most special is of course the large game that occurs here. Stately red deer compete for a female during the rutting season, you can hear the bellow from far away. Back in Hoenderloo you pay a visit to the Electricity Museum: not a technical museum about how electricity works, but all kinds of examples of electrical appliances from the past century. You walk back to your starting point through the cozy tourist village.
