The North Holland Dune Reserve is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands: it stretches from Wijk aan Zee to Bergen! Put on your walking shoes and experience for yourself how beautiful this area in the Castricum region is!
The North Sea beach
What a wonderful walk along the North Sea. Nothing beats a day of fresh air with the sound of the surf in the background. In good weather you can take a dip. Or just enjoy the views.
North Holland Dune Reserve
After a while you walk into the North Holland Dune Reserve. You can buy your ticket at one of the entrances with a pin, credit card or with your smartphone (see www.pwn.nl). It is wonderfully quiet walking in the woods. Here you see a mix of foliage and old pines. You will also pass De Hoge Toren: a high dune top. The last part of the route you walk on the beach again.
