Cycling through the Green Forest

This route takes you on a beautiful tour through the Groene Woud National Landscape. You will pass through well-known and lesser-known nature reserves, and you will also visit some authentic church villages. In Haaren, in addition to regional farms, you will also see the Oude Toren from 1427 - a former church tower, the associated church collapsed in 1780. In Esch and Lennisheuvel, you will still experience the typical Brabant village atmosphere. In the Kampina, you will cycle through forests and through the vast heathland. What peace you will find here! You will also pass special historical places. Nemerlaer Castle dates from the fourteenth century. In Boxtel, you will find the medieval Stapelen Castle, which is used as a monastery by the Assumptionists. Take a break at Restaurant Speijck, on the edge of the Oisterwijk forests!
