Description
Driven on Ascension Day 2017. Car parked in the large parking lot on Leidijkreed of the annually held Strandheem Ascension festival.
Beautiful route! Along roads and pleasant stretches of land/farms. The first part up to Marum is a beautiful cycle path and follows an old train track.
The last section is a truly beautiful section on beautiful cycle paths (kn.pnt 86-82-80)
Disadvantage: not many benches and/or picnic areas (only after KP99 and after KP86 or in Marum center).
Please note: After KP 85 there will be a roundabout (near restaurant De Kruisweg). Here, to follow KP99, you have to drive straight ahead over the roundabout, so do not follow the cycle path to the right! We did not find the reference to KP 99 clear.
