Switch back in Ruurlo

From the parking lot you drive into the famous Achterhoek scenic landscape of meandering streams, hedgerows and small-scale forests. It is wonderfully quiet cycling here. Ideal to fully recharge the proverbial battery. Halfway through the route you pass through Ruurlo, a beautiful, friendly town where you can admire the fourteenth-century village church. On the edge of Boswachterij Ruurlo you pass Ruurlo Castle, where Museum MORE is located. Further away is the largest hedge maze in the world, built at the end of the nineteenth century on behalf of the then lord of the castle. After you drive out of the woods, you pass through the characteristic hamlets of Veldhoek and Halle. Along the Boven-Slinge you drive through the forests of Noorderbroek. How nice and fresh it is here at the stream!
