After jumping on the saddle, you ride a short distance through the German Reichswald. On the Maas you pass the watchtower that stands on the foundations of the Genneperhuis, a castle that was destroyed by the French in 1710. Further on you cycle through Gennep, an old and pleasant town with a fortress past. On the other side of the water you pass De Daalgaard, one of the oldest vineyards in the Netherlands. You will pass Hip & Cozy where you can stop for a well-deserved break with a snack and drink. In Cuijk you cycle past the beautiful St. Martin's Church from 1913. Museum Ceuclum is located in the detached fifteenth-century tower of the original church. The tower can be climbed, at a height of 35 meters you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. Past Malden you cycle onto the Nijmegen moraine and drive into the woods. What a silence!
