From Stroe into the Gelderse Valley

Beautiful old farms, tranquility and above all space: you will find it in the Gelderse Vallei. This beautiful route also takes you into the woods of the Veluwe.

Sprielderbos
You drive into the vast forests of the Veluwe. That will be many kilometers of winding cycle paths between deciduous and coniferous trees. How wonderfully quiet it is here. Especially if you cycle through the Sprielderbos, one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands.

Apple Heath
It is also nice and quiet to pedal in the Gelderse Vallei. Here you cycle through an open landscape of arable and grasslands. You regularly see an old characteristic farm. Yet you will also come across nature reserves here, such as the Appelse Heide. In Walderveen you pass the Walderveense Molen, a flour mill from 1895.
