Cycling through the beautiful Twente countryside

Cycling in Twente is never boring, no matter how often you visit. This route takes you through Het Springendal and beautiful villages such as Vasse, Tubbergen and the city of Ootmarsum. You start with a cup of coffee at Hotel Cafe Restaurant De Landmarke. As a cyclist you immediately feel at home in Twente. The centuries-old small-scale ash landscape with its authentic Saxon farms seems to have been specially created for cyclists. It's wonderful to travel miles here. In the Het Springendal nature reserve you can indulge in a romantic experience with the beautiful ponds and narrow streams in the middle of the quiet forest. Further on you will pass the Grote Geesterse Molen, a flour mill from 1867. In Ootmarsum time seems to have stood still. Feel free to step off to enjoy the characteristic atmosphere.
