Through the forests of the Loonse and Drunense Dunes

In the Loonse and Drunense Duinen you cycle many kilometers on the cycle path through the woods. You will also pass through characteristic Brabant towns such as Giersbergen, Helvoirt and Berkel-Enschot.

National Park
Just outside Tilburg you drive past the Noorderbos, which was created in 2001, where you mainly see pedunculate oaks and robinias. Further on you drive into the forests of the Loonse and Drunense Duinen National Park. You can ride here for miles on the cycle path without encountering cars, which is wonderful cycling!

Old Giersbergen
Giersbergen is a hamlet in the middle of the woods. Time seems to pass a little slower here, so step off to admire the old long-fronted farmhouses. A little later you cycle again under the cool canopy of the forests. The last part of the route leads you through beautiful rural Brabant. Here you will see small-scale nature reserves and fruit orchards. At the end of the route you pass the picturesque old center of Enschot.
