Through the forests of the Loonse and Drunense Dunes

In the Loonse and Drunense Dunes you cycle many kilometers on the cycle path through the forests. You also pass through characteristic Brabant villages such as Giersbergen, Helvoirt and Berkel-Enschot.

National Park
Just outside Tilburg you cycle along the Noorderbos, which was created in 2001. You will mainly see summer oaks and robinias here. Further on you cycle into the forests of the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park. You can cycle for kilometres on the cycle path without encountering any cars, that is wonderful cycling!

Old Giersbergen
Giersbergen is a hamlet in the middle of the woods. Time seems to pass more slowly here, get off your bike to admire the old long-façade farms. A little later you cycle under the cool canopy of the woods again. The last part of the route takes you through the beautiful rural Brabant. You will see small-scale nature reserves and orchards here. At the end of the route you will pass the picturesque old centre of Enschot.
