Albtalradweg
The 35 kilometer long Albtalradweg follows, as the name says, the river Alb, which rises just north of Bad Herrenalb. The route leads through the beautiful valley of the Alb, which lies on the edge of the northern Black Forest. The route is mostly flat and therefore ideal for families with young children.
This pleasant bike tour runs partly on asphalted paths and partly on nature trails and starts in the town of Bad Herrenalb. On the way you will pass the imposing monastery ruins in Frauenalb. A nice attraction, also for children. The route also takes you to the town of Ettlingen, where you can enjoy a drink in one of the cozy cafes in the historic inner city. The way back leads you back to Bad Herrenalb via the other side of the Alb. Also nice for on the road: the vehicle museum in Marxzell.
