Description
Restaurant Zalen De Mol is located on the edge of Wijthmen. This cycling tour starts from this historic farm. After a delicious cup of coffee you are ready to leave. You will soon cycle along the Wijthmenerplas. This recreational area is popular among swimmers, walkers and cyclists. The water is home to European crayfish, pike, carp, perch and eel. A little later you cross the IJssel to Hattem with the ferry. You leave the beautiful town for what it is and cycle through a typical Dutch river landscape in a southerly direction. The wind can be lovely here on the dikes. At Veessen you cross the IJssel again and cycle back north via towns such as Wijhe and Laag Zuthem. End your day on the terrace of your starting point. Time to relax!
