Tour of Art and Culture Waalre, in Kerkdorp-Waalre

See the 2017 edition of the brochure 2017 of these art and culture route points through Waalre with description, these are available at the Klooster in Waalre-Dorp, Waalres Museum in Waalre-Dorp, Hazzo in Aalst-Dorp, Town Hall and at various other places in the municipality of Waalre. Through this walking tour you can discover, among other things, the place south of the Klimbim in the forest on the edge of the horse pasture, where Antoon Coolen's writer's hut stood and also the  the Airbornpad runs a bit over the path that Antoon Coolen himself made because he walked it 4x a day between his log cabin and his homes. First he built number 30, then smaller number 24, which has now also been expanded further, next to it is a Rietveld house (22) at number 22, which has now also been expanded. But also in front of and opposite the water feature at the beginning of the Blokvenlaan lived a striking person, namely photographer Jan Bijnen. (In his day he still worked with glass plates to photograph for his picture postcards. You are still missing point 38, which you can find on this walking map after WKP 80 in Zuid Waalre.
