A day of cycling through the Wieden

The route starts at the Dorpsgracht in Belt-Schutsloot. On the cozy terrace of Petit restaurant het Otterswold you can enjoy the water-rich view and the friendly atmosphere. From the Wieden you then drive to the banks of the Zwarte Meer. You have a beautiful view from the tree-lined dike. Further on you cycle into the Noordoostpolder, into the Kadoelerbos. You drive to Blokzijl along the banks of the Vollenhovermeer and the Vollenhoverkanaal. At the harbor of this town you can admire beautiful historic buildings. A little later you cross the Walengracht with a ferry to Jonen. In high season you have to pay a small amount for this crossing. You drive through the Wieden, passing through Dwarsgracht and Giethoorn.
