A day of cycling through the Wieden

The route starts at the Dorpsgracht in Belt-Schutsloot. On the cozy terrace of Petit restaurant Het Otterswold you can enjoy the watery view and the friendly ambiance. From the Wieden you then drive to the banks of the Zwarte Meer. You have a beautiful view from the tree-lined dike. Further on you cycle into the Noordoostpolder, into the Kadoeterbos. You drive along the banks of the Vollenhovermeer and the Vollenhover Canal to Blokzijl. You can admire beautiful historic buildings at the harbor of this town. A little later you cross the Walengracht to Jonen with a ferry. In high season you have to pay a small amount for this crossing. You drive through the Wieden, passing through Dwarsgracht and past Giethoorn.
