Description
This route takes you through the vast forest area east of Bergen op Zoom. Here you cycle through the Wouwse Plantage estate, among other things. You can also enjoy the extensive polders near Roosendaal.
Brabant polder
Here you drive through the polders that lie in the transition area between dry sandy soils and marine clay. A beautiful area to get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the peace and views.
Flemish Barn
Further on you drive into some contiguous forests. You will pass through Zoomland Estate, among other things. This was once a large swamp, but now there is a damp forest through which old avenues still run. After the forests of De Lievensberg you pass through the sixteenth-century estate the Wouwse Plantage: one of the most beautiful forest areas in the Netherlands! Further afield you can admire small agricultural implements in the Flemish Barn Museum, located in a barn from 1635.
