Description
This route takes you through the vast forest area east of Bergen op Zoom. You cycle through Landgoed de Wouwse Plantage. You also enjoy the vast polders near Roosendaal.
Brabant polder
You drive here through the polders that lie on the transition area of dry sandy soils and sea clay. A beautiful area to blow away and enjoy the peace and views.
Flemish Barn
Further on you will enter several contiguous forests. You will pass through Landgoed Zoomland. This used to be a large swamp, now there is a damp forest with old lanes running through it. After the forests of De Lievensberg you will pass through the sixteenth-century estate de Wouwse Plantage: one of the most beautiful forest areas in the Netherlands! Further on you can admire small agricultural implements in Museum Vlaamse Schuur, located in a barn from 1635.
