Roman road
The route starts at the parking lot near Snodenhoek. On the Grote Molenstraat you walk along the route of a Roman road: a unique experience, because few remains of Roman roads have been found in the Netherlands. This road was part of the Limes, the fortified frontier of the Roman Empire. He connected the military fortresses along the Rhine. Many tens of thousands of Roman soldiers have marched where you are now.

Schuytgraaf
You walk through the spacious and green Schuytgraaf, an Arnhem suburb. A little further on you walk on the foraging paths in a wonderfully quiet environment.
