Tour of the Zeeland Bridge and Oosterscheldekering

The route starts at Proef Zeeland - Neeltje Jans Mosselen. From here you cycle over the Oosterscheldekering. At Serooskerke you pass the Prunje and Schelphoek, two special nature reserves. The Plompetoren is an old church tower from 1468. You can climb it for a unique panorama. Then you cycle into Zierikzee, a beautiful town with a historic atmosphere. The most famous building is the Sint-Lievensmonstertoren from 1506. From a distance you can already see the Zeelandbrug. This iconic bridge was completed in 1965 and is five kilometers long. You cycle back via Noord-Beveland. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the Oosterschelde. Stop at Deltapark Neeltje Jans to learn all about the Delta Works.
